Looks like the second wave is here and COVID numbers are on the rise. How is your financial institution coping with this new normal?

We've seen institutions install plexiglass, pile on the hand sanitizer, mask up, and limit indoor capacity but the risk is there and people are worried. Staff numbers are reduced and your clients may have longer wait times--making it utterly frustrating for all. Good news is, it doesn't have to be this way.

Despite the pandemic, people still need to do banking. The question is: how do you make it safe for everyone?

Skip the branch visit if you can
What's better than being able to self-serve? Our MobiBanking App lets clients do everyday banking such as transfers, pay bills and make orders. But what makes our app remarkable is that our newest feature - Self Applications - lets clients apply for new accounts via the web or app so they don't have to go into the branch.

Ask questions via digital communications
There are times when clients feel the need to contact their branch. Before opting to visit the branch, try digital communications first. Mobilearth has the Helpdesk module which is a real-time live chat that clients can use to communicate with the branch. If it is out of hours, clients can also use the Secure Message to send their inquiry and that can be answered once the branch is opened again. The great thing about our communication tools is that they are encrypted and fully secure.

Now, If you really have to go to the branch...
Some things just have to be done in person and we get it. That’s why Mobilearth has developed MobiBranch and the Queue to help financial institutions digitally transform branch operations so that staff are not stuck behind a desk and can become mobile. The advantage of this is that staff can now help clients outside of the branch and do contactless transactions for them. The Queue will digitize lineups so that clients can check themselves into the lineup virtually and only show up when it’s close to their turn inside. Keep everyone safe by reducing lineups and crowding.

Mobile Password Enhancements

These past few months we have made some changes to the Forgot Password feature. Some of these changes include an enhanced password pattern and reworded system generated messages. The new messages will provide better guidance for users when they are trying to reset their password.
